Look at the picture here. It was a picture sent to me with an e-mail by one of my friends. I considered it as a very nice example to prove the benefits of hijab for girls who dont like Hijab. Its a fact that if girls expose themselves they are more likey to get in to illicit relationships because it will create temptation in the hearts of people. This might lead to fornication of adultery,one of the most serious crimes in Islam. You know how serious this crime is, when a married man or women commits Zina or adultery he or she has to be stoned to death. Death penalty is a sign of the severity of this crime.
Fornication and Adultery is very common today in Maldivian society to an extent that some Maldivians dont consider it as a sin. Its so common that most of the Maldivian teenage girls and boys admit themselves in the surveys carried out by concerned authorities that they do such things.
To save our society from these illicit practices, girls can play a very important role by being modest, i mean by wearing the hijab prescribed in the islamic sharia (a complete law from Allah,the Creator to the creatures, the Sharia has all the solutions to all the problems of humanity.)
